AVP in the Northern Territory has two separate small but active workshop groups: AVP Darwin and AVP Alice Springs. Both groups offer three levels of workshops: the Basic, the Advanced and the Training for Facilitators.
AVP Darwin has offered workshops in this community since 2007. From 2011 to 2014, workshops were organized by Melaleuca Refugee Centre. These included youth workshops at Sanderson Middle School. Since 2016 workshops have been offered in the Darwin Correctional Centre for men and since 2021 for women. In 2021, we ran a workshop in Nungalinya College, an ecumenical theological institution to empower Indigenous Australians. Contact us (below) for more information.

AVP Alice Springs is also a small but active group offering workshops in prison and in the community. The first workshops began in Alice in 2001. These were all Community Workshops. We began offering prison workshops for both men and women in 2018. Contact us (below) for more details.
